Music
Collaborative pianoWilliams College
Fall 2024–present
Most of my playing at Williams is with other people. I accompany voice lessons, studio recitals, senior recitals, and chamber music, and I’ve been the rehearsal pianist for the January opera workshops, including Faust and Gianni Schicchi. I’ve played more than fifty pieces this way, from Bach cantatas to Sondheim.
This year I accompany the Williams choir, and I accompany and help direct the gospel choir. In February 2026 I also played in the Berkshire Symphony Student Soloist Competition, accompanying arias by Donizetti and Puccini. The full list of what I’ve played is on the repertoire page.
Solo piano
I’ve taken piano lessons and played on a piano recital every semester since I arrived, with pieces by Medtner, Bach, Chopin, and Myaskovsky. Right now I’m learning Schubert’s Sonata in C Minor, D. 958, and Schumann’s Fantasie in C Major, Op. 17.
Composition
I’ve taken composition classes at Williams and have written a good amount of music, including:
My first experiments with composing were on OnlineSequencer, where I made more than 965 sequences between 2017 and 2021.
Writing and score videos
In 2023, mentored by Dr. Jennifer Undercofler, I wrote an analysis of Samuil Feinberg’s Third Piano Sonata: its structure, and its harmonic and motivic ties to Liszt, Chopin, and Scriabin.
On my YouTube channel I synchronize recordings of classical pieces with their scores, so you can follow along as you listen.2021–present. Making those videos is also where the idea for my practice tool came from.
